We ship with An Post and DHL. Orders placed before 2pm on a business day are typically dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 2pm or on weekends are dispatched the next business day.
Processing Times
Most in-stock orders are processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment being confirmed. During busy periods (sales, bank holidays) processing may take slightly longer — we will contact you if there is any significant delay.
Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Irish public holidays.
Special Order Items
Special order items (such as rifle chassis systems ordered to your specification) are subject to supplier lead times, which can vary from a few days to several weeks. We will provide an estimated lead time when your order is confirmed. See our Returns Policy for more on special orders.

Following Brexit, orders to the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes levied by UK customs. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our shipping costs. Please check with UK customs before ordering if you are unsure.

International orders outside the EU may be subject to import duties and taxes imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.
Import Licences & Permits
Important: Some products sold by Be Outdoors — including certain firearms components, optics, and related equipment — may require an import licence, permit, or authorisation in your country. Be Outdoors does not research, monitor, or advise on the import licensing or permit requirements of any country. It is your sole responsibility to determine what is required and to comply with it before placing your order.
Import and export regulations vary significantly between countries and change over time. Be Outdoors operates from Ireland and has no means to verify or keep up to date with the legal requirements of every jurisdiction to which we ship. We place no obligation on ourselves to investigate, inform you of, or take responsibility for any licensing or permit requirements that may apply to your order in your country.
By placing an order with Be Outdoors, you warrant that:
- You have independently verified the import regulations applicable in your country for the specific items ordered.
- You hold, or will hold at the time of delivery, any licence, permit, or authorisation required to lawfully import and possess the goods.
- You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing the purchase, import, possession, and use of the items ordered.
Your Obligation to Communicate Requirements to Be Outdoors
Where a permit, licence, end-user certificate, or any other document is required — whether it must accompany the consignment, be declared to the carrier, or be provided to Be Outdoors before dispatch — it is your responsibility to proactively communicate this to us at info@beoutdoors.ie before your order is dispatched.
Be Outdoors will not contact you to check whether documentation is required. We will not research your country’s requirements on your behalf. If you do not communicate the necessary requirements and provide the required documentation before dispatch, that is entirely your responsibility and Be Outdoors will not be held liable for any consequences.
No Liability for Permit-Related Delays, Seizures, or Loss
Be Outdoors accepts no liability whatsoever for any delay, seizure, confiscation, destruction, or non-delivery of a consignment arising from:
- The customer’s failure to obtain a required import permit, licence, or authorisation
- The customer’s failure to communicate permit or documentation requirements to Be Outdoors
- Incorrect, incomplete, or missing permit or customs documentation
- Any failure by the customer to comply with the laws or regulations of their country
No refund will be issued in respect of goods seized, destroyed, or returned by customs authorities as a result of missing or invalid import documentation. For special order items, the non-refundable policy applies in full regardless of the reason for non-delivery.

Any information we provide is offered in good faith as general guidance only and does not constitute legal advice or a warranty that no permit is required.
Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to track your parcel. Tracking is available for all An Post and DHL shipments.
If you have not received a dispatch confirmation within 2 business days of placing your order, please check your spam folder or contact us at info@beoutdoors.ie.
Lost or Damaged Parcels
If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and contents before doing anything else and contact us at info@beoutdoors.ie within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
If your tracking shows your parcel as delivered but you have not received it, please first check with neighbours and any safe drop location. If you still cannot locate it, contact us and we will raise an investigation with the carrier. Please allow up to 5 business days for the carrier to complete their investigation before a replacement or refund can be issued.
Be Outdoors is not responsible for parcels lost or delayed due to incorrect address information provided at checkout. Please double-check your delivery address before placing your order.
Incorrect Address
If you realise you have entered an incorrect delivery address, contact us at info@beoutdoors.ie as soon as possible. We can amend the address if your order has not yet been dispatched. Once an order has been dispatched, we cannot guarantee that an address change can be made and any re-delivery costs may be passed on to the customer.
